I purchased this for my 4 year old grand daughter for the holidays! This is a gift she will enjoy every day! She is able to learn scripture and it's age appropriate for her.
Loved the first edition, but this one isn’t the same. My 3 & 4 year olds loved the rhyming prayer at the end of each day in the first book, so we were very disappointed to find that it wasn’t included in the 2nd book!
Love this devotional for preschoolers. We have the other version of this and used it till it was falling apart with our oldest. Bought this one hoping it would be as good as the first and it definitely is! They are the perfect length for young ones. There is nothing better than having your kids ask to do their devotions each day! Great way to start imparting a love of The Word into your kids!
The entrance of God's Word bring/gives Light. I started Daily Devotions with my 4yrs old last year and now she and her brother 22months just love to sit and listen and learn. I know, trust and believe in God's Word and the Power of the Holy Spirit to sustain my young folks as we journey in know and loving God. Thanks for this Devotions.
This book is good for my girls, 5 & 7. I get the 7 year old to read it to the 5 year old because though it says preschooler, the reading is probably a second or third grade reading level. It has been going good. We read it in the morning before school. It helps reset our morning, especially when things aren't going smoothly!!
HIghly recommend! My daughter uses the first version in school so this was the perfect supplement. Easy to understand for preschoolers and to the point.
I read this with my 3yr and 5yr old each night. The book is small in size, but is thick and heavy as far as its a full year of devotions. The devotions are simple for my kids to understand and short enough so they don't lose attention. Some of the devotions are over their heads and we always discuss further into the subject to make sure they understand what i just read. my kids like the little illustrations on each page, and each page ends with a cute little poem and starts with a Bible verse.
We read the first one and bought the second. I don’t think it has to be for preschool. It can be for older children too. Cute short relatable stories.
Just adorable, written very well for toddlers. My grandson loves the stories and pictures.
