About the Author
Clark Spencer Larsen heads the Department of Anthropology at Ohio State University, Columbus. A native of Nebraska, he received his B.A. from Kansas State University and M.A. and Ph.D. from the University of Michigan. Clark’s research is in bioarchaeology, skeletal biology, and paleoanthropology. He has worked in North America, Europe, and Asia. He has taught at the University of Massachusetts, Northern Illinois University, Purdue University, and the University of North Carolina. Since 2001, he has been a member of the faculty at Ohio State, where he is a Distinguished Professor of Social and Behavioral Sciences. He teaches introductory physical anthropology, osteology, bioarchaeology, and paleoanthropology. Clark has served as president of the American Associations of Physical Anthropologists and as editor-in-chief of the American Journal of Physical Anthropology. In addition to Our Origins, he has authored or edited 25 books and monographs, including Bioarchaeology; Interpreting Behavior from the Human Skeleton, Skeletons in Our Closet, Advances in Dental Anthropology; and A Companion to Biological Anthropology.

If you're reading this, you probably need the book for a class, so you're going to buy (or rent) it anyway. The good news is you'll probably like it - it is a college science textbook, but the writing isn't too dense, all the key terms are defined, and the visuals are great. My experience is with the paper book and my professor did not require the access code, so do please take that into consideration.Also, Dr. Larsen, if you're out there, you had me at "Franklin, Watson, and Crick".
I dont know how to contact the seller to ask this question, but this book is supposed to include a code to access InQuizitive and I can't find it. If the seller or anyone who knows if this book includes the code reads this, please help me ! The code costs 20 dollars and it's supposed to be included.
I ordered the digital version due to the lower pricing, but that was the best decision I could have made. The Kindle layout is incredibly user-friendly—highly sensible arrangement and unbelievably efficient note-taking and highlighting functions. No lugging around a heavy textbook and finding annotations, definitions, and more in an instant via search bars saved so much time and was literally less burdensome (one less textbook in my backpack). This made studying for my class so much easier for so many reasons!

Rental comes with access code to inquizitives and ebook, a lot cheaper than purchasing just the ebook, very helpful

Digital is the way to go, super handy if you have a tablet/nook. MUCH cheaper than print version so there's a money saver
